You've got to be kidding...

I'm getting ready to fill out my absentee ballot and I just noticed something disturbing. We have to PAY to send our ballot in. And not just that, it takes 2 stamps. What, Netflix and Scholastic will pay for your mailing and the US Gov't can't? Give me a break. Almost makes me not want to vote. Not like my vote will matter anyway in this lovely blue state...

Back on the Radar

I wasn't feeling very well this week and I totally messed up. I had big plans of posting a tribute to one of my oldest and best friends on her 30th b-day. She doesn't like attention to be shown her way, but it's my blog and I can do what I want. Kell- I hope you had a great 30th b-day. We WILL celebrate soon!

I have been horrible about posting lately - I know. However, I have good reason. I can't remember the last stretch of my life where I have had as much going on as I have the past month or so. Here are some of the highlights!

October 5: Patriots v. 49ers game. In a great game, the Pats beat the 9ers 30-21.

October 11: Stanford v. Arizona game. Hanging out with my good friend Betsey. Our twin sweatshirts helped us blend in during the Homecoming game, and also made us feel just a little bit smarter.

Both a literal and figurative sign. I keep telling Betsey that I want to be a Stanford traffic cop- and look!!

Since I finally updated pics on my computer- this was the rat that Matt announced to the entire stadium might be single... good times.

October 12: Patriots v. Chargers. Aye Carrumba. This game doesn't even deserve a mention. The boys looked horrible. I did have fun taking pictures, however. I even got to see my friends Paul and Holly, though loser that I am, I forgot to take a pic :-(

October 18: Laura and Paul's Wedding.

October 19: Izzy's 6th Birthday Party at Build-a-Bear

October 25: Gracie's 10th Birthday. A Breakfast at Tiffany's Themed Party - starting with a great breakfast and a fun photo scavenger hunt in Target and nearby.

Reeeeeealy? Is this necessary?

Can anyone spot the problem(s) in the following pictures?

How bout this. It's OCTOBER 8th. It's still over 80 degrees out. Halloween is still weeks away. Back to School is barely put away. And already we have to deal with Christmas shopping at Target????? You have GOT to be kidding me.
